PROGRAM FOR CLINICAL RESEARCH
The UCSF Department of Dermatology Program for Clinical Research (PCR) is a group of highly-accomplished faculty investigators who perform rigorous studies to address important research questions on diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of skin disease.
Our VISION is that through our clinical research and mentoring, we in the PCR will serve a pivotal role in having UCSF be the best place in the world for dermatology faculty to develop academic careers.
Our MISSION has three parts:
- First, to perform the best research, education, and advocacy to improve the understanding, diagnosis, and treatment of skin diseases
- Second, to accomplish these goals in a collaborative way that will foster a culture of curiosity and discovery
- Third, to accomplish these goals in a compelling way that will ensure sustainability of the Program
Our faculty have broad expertise in many aspects of clinical research and dermatology.
